Risk Disclosure
Last updated: 2026-03-27
This Risk Disclosure summarizes key risks of using the String11 service.
1) Volatility Risk
Digital asset prices can be highly volatile and may change rapidly before, during, or after an order.
2) Irreversibility Risk
Blockchain transactions are generally irreversible. Once completed on-chain, transactions usually cannot be canceled or reversed.
3) Wallet Security and Destination Responsibility
You are responsible for wallet security and destination-address accuracy. If funds are sent to an incorrect or inaccessible address, recovery may be impossible.
4) Third-Party Dependency Risk
The service depends on third-party providers and infrastructure, including Transak, Magic Labs, Alchemy, Reown / WalletConnect, CoinGecko, and underlying blockchain networks. Availability, approvals, pricing/quote accuracy, and execution outcomes may depend on these providers and are outside String11 direct control.
Price display: Portfolio and UI prices that rely on CoinGecko (or similar feeds) may be delayed, incomplete, or differ from execution prices in the on-ramp widget.
Wallet connection: Optional Reown/Wagmi/WalletConnect flows depend on third-party wallet and relay infrastructure; outages or policy changes can limit connectivity.
5) Delays, Failures, and Restrictions
Orders and transfers may be delayed, restricted, or rejected due to provider compliance checks, network congestion/outages, sanctions/jurisdiction restrictions, or other operational constraints.
6) Price, Fee, and Execution Variability
Quoted prices, fees, and execution terms may change based on market conditions, provider logic, payment method, and jurisdiction.
7) Role Boundary Reminder
String11 is a non-custodial interface and does not hold or control user funds. Fiat-to-crypto transaction handling and related compliance checks are performed by third-party providers in the on-ramp flow.
8) Changes to This Disclosure
We may update this Risk Disclosure from time to time with notice through our website and/or service interfaces. Continued use after updates are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated disclosure.
